About The Position

The Program Manager, Strategic Partners, is responsible for leading a diverse team in the successful delivery of projects and for implementing and overseeing the company's strategic partner program initiatives. This role focuses on executing the strategic partner strategy, managing daily operations and fostering relationships to promote the inclusion of strategic partners. This individual will lead the program management team in a dynamic and profitable manner based on Burns & McDonnell's core values of client satisfaction, commitment, dedication, integrity, safety and overall outstanding service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, business, supply chain management or related degree from an accredited program.
  • A minimum of ten years of experience with strategic partner programs or a related field.
  • Strong experience in client and business development.
  • Demonstrated experience in program management and execution preferred.
  • Strong understanding of strategic partner program principles and best practices preferred.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in managing projects.
  • Experience in business analysis, including requirements gathering and process mapping preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent planning and analytical skills.
  • Strong facilitation, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thoughfully and positively influence, lead and manage.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Professional in Supplier Management (CPSM) or Certified Professional in Supplier Diversity (CPSD) strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of diverse experts in the successful delivery of complex projects, from inception through final close-out.
  • Develop and implement processes, procedures, strategy, program execution plans, resource planning, risk management and reporting tools.
  • Ensure program goals and objectives are aligned.
  • Establish the organizational structure, policies and procedures for the program and team.
  • Manage program risks, performance and communications.
  • Execute the company's strategic partner strategy and manage the day-to-day operations of related programs.
  • Track key performance indicators and report on program progress to leadership.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including procurement and project management, to identify opportunities for strategic partners.
  • Represent the company at outreach events focused on strategic partners, conferences and meetings.Travel up to 25% on an annual basis.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with strategic partner organizations and community partners.
  • Monitor program compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
  • Prepare and deliver regular reports on strategic partner metrics and program outcomes.
  • Maintain responsibility for financial performance and reporting of program health.
  • Provide coverage for the Business Analyst role, which includes gathering and documenting business requirements, performing data analysis, developing process flows and supporting system testing.
  • Collaborate with IT and business units to ensure project objectives are met and solutions align with organizational needs.
