About The Position

As the Strategic Partner Initiatives Director, you will be a key member of the Partners & Alliances leadership team. Reporting to the SVP of Partners & Alliances, your primary responsibility is to align, drive, and report on our global strategic initiatives to drive incremental growth with the partner ecosystem. You will support and scale a Global Partner organization by planning and executing strategic initiatives that are in line with corporate, function, and departmental activities. This is a hands-on role that requires a self-starter with a strong project management background, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in strategy, consulting and delivering complex initiatives across multiple cross functional stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling partner programs that drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing go-to-market (GTM) strategies that leverage a diverse partner ecosystem.
  • Strong understanding of various partner types, including System Integrators (SIs), Value-Added Resellers (VARs), Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), and cloud ecosystems (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to use data and Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including C-level executives.
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.

  • Advance Market Position: Drive initiatives through Okta's partner ecosystem that advance our position in the market.
  • Drive Growth and Opportunities: Work closely with GTM functions, Sales Ops, and IT to generate growth and new opportunities.
  • Achieve Strategic Alignment: Ensure partner projects and initiatives are aligned with corporate and departmental goals.
  • Deliver High-Value Outcomes: Manage and support the partner ecosystem to deliver valuable results for both partners and Okta.
  • Scale Partner Operations: Effectively scale the Global Partner organization through strategic planning and execution.
  • Track and Report Success: Develop and monitor success metrics to demonstrate the impact of partner initiatives.
