The Director of Strategic Initiatives is responsible for leading cross-departmental strategic initiatives in order to improve growth, operational efficiency and reliability, quality outcomes, safety, organizational stability and performance at Sheridan Community Hospital. This role serves as a bridge between operations, quality, and strategic growth by designing, implementing, and assuring sustainable processes related to new service lines, workflow improvements, vendor partnerships, and performance optimization. In a rural hospital setting, this position is highly team immersed and collaborative. This role is working closely with executive leadership, clinical and non-clinical teams, and external partners to ensure initiatives are practical, sustainable, and aligned with the hospital’s mission, resources, and regulatory requirements.
