About The Position

The Strategic Operations Coordinator serves as a high-level partner to the COO, responsible for driving the execution of the company’s strategic goals and growth ambitions. This role is the "connective tissue" of the COO and Business Leaders, blending project management, data visualization, and stakeholder engagement. The Coordinator ensures that strategic milestones are met with speed and precision while cultivating meaningful internal and external relationships that support the organization’s brand preference initiatives.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in project coordination, business operations, or a compliance style support role.
  • Demonstrated ability to use (or an accelerated ability to learn) Tableau, Power BI, and Smartsheet.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the "executive presence" required to interface with external partners.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and pivot quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic Planning Frameworks: Understanding how high-level strategic ambitions translate into operational milestones.
  • Data Visualization Principles: Best practices for presenting complex data in a clear, actionable format for executive decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Management: Techniques for cultivating and maintaining professional relationships across different levels of an organization.
  • Performance Metrics: Familiarity with tracking growth ambitions and brand-related KPIs.
  • Advanced Project Management: Expert-level organization and the ability to manage multiple high-priority workstreams simultaneously.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to synthesize qualitative relationship goals with quantitative execution data.
  • Software Fluency: High proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite, Smartsheet, and BI tools (Tableau/Power BI).
  • Interpersonal Diplomacy: Skill in navigating sensitive internal and external relationships with tact and professionalism.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP, CAPM, or specialized training in Data Analytics/Business Intelligence.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Execution Tracking: Monitor progress against multi-year strategic goals, identifying bottlenecks in execution and escalating risks to the COO.
  • Dashboard Development: Build and maintain executive-level dashboards to provide real-time visibility into growth KPIs.
  • Project Management: Utilize Smartsheet, or similar tools, to manage complex workstreams, ensuring all departments remain aligned with the strategic goals.
  • Executive Briefing: Prepare research, briefing materials, and follow-up strategies for the COO ahead of critical internal and external meetings.
  • Operational Agility: Drive the "speed of execution" by streamlining workflows and ensuring that strategic initiatives do not lose momentum during the transition from planning to action.
