Strategic Insights and Market Intelligence Intern The Future Offering Design (FOD) team is seeking a highly motivated intern to support strategic insight development across multiple consumer categories. This role will help FOD leaders deepen their understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and category opportunities. The ideal candidate is curious, analytical, and skilled at transforming research into clear, actionable insights. This internship provides exposure to category strategy, consumer insights, competitive analysis, and early opportunity assessment. It is an excellent role for students interested in strategy, marketing, product development, business analytics, or consulting.

Requirements

Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret and summarize complex information
Interest in consumer products, market dynamics, and competitive strategy
Proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel; familiarity with data visualization is a plus
Detail‑oriented, proactive, and comfortable working with cross‑functional teams
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high‑quality work with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

Conduct SWOT analyses across priority categories to support long‑term strategic planning
Perform competitive landscape assessments, including product benchmarking, pricing comparisons, and positioning reviews
Gather and synthesize market intelligence from external reports, retail audits, consumer insights, and trend sources
Support category opportunity assessments, early business case framing, and strategic recommendations
Create clear, concise summaries and insight deliverables for FOD leaders and cross‑functional partners
Maintain organized folders, trackers, and insight libraries to strengthen team knowledge management
