As Manager, Strategic Innovation, you will serve as a Director-level individual contributor, playing a pivotal role in defining and executing the strategies that fuel growth and innovation across our Diagnostics business. Reporting to the Senior Director, Strategic Innovation, this role is designed for a senior strategic leader seeking enterprise influence without people-management responsibilities. You will lead high-impact strategic initiatives end-to-end, partnering closely with leadership across Strategy & Business Development, Marketing, R&D, Medical Affairs, Customer Service, and Commercial Operations to unlock the full potential of the Diagnostics portfolio.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
  • 10+ years of healthcare industry experience
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic planning, business development, management consulting, or venture-related environments
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare and diagnostics ecosystem
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing strategic initiatives that drive commercial growth
  • Experience collaborating across multidisciplinary teams (R&D, Commercial, Legal, IP, Finance, Operations)
  • High business acumen with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Help define and drive the strategic innovation agenda for Siemens Healthineers Diagnostics, aligned with overall business objectives
  • Research, synthesize, and maintain insights on market dynamics, innovation trends, technology developments, and competitive landscapes
  • Lead and support cross-functional teams to assess market opportunities and define go-to-market strategies
  • Identify emerging clinical and technical innovation areas tied to unmet needs, disruption risks, and future growth
  • Collaborate on biomarker and technology scouting, literature reviews, and IP assessments to inform investment decisions
  • Develop and support business and portfolio analytics, including monitoring key performance indicators
  • Prepare and present strategic insights and recommendations to senior executives to support decision-making
