About The Position

Under the direction of the VP of Sales, the Strategic Growth Manager role supports new and low-spend customers to improve the customer experience while increasing revenue. Sales Operations Specialist (Inside Sales) serves as a key point of contact for customers, manages quotes and orders, and ensures accurate sales documentation within Big Bolt’s ERP system. This position represents a mid-point career progression opportunity on the Sales Team, offering long-term advancement for strong performers who consistently demonstrate sales, communication, and organizational skills.

  • 5+ years of sales experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Experience using ERP and CRM systems

  • Prior fastener industry experience is a plus, but not required—eagerness to learn is essential

Responsibilities

  • Enter sales quotes and orders into NetSuite ERP
  • Prepare, update, and maintain sales quotes, including identification of routing steps when required
  • Manage quotes, orders, and communications through customer portals
  • Follow up with customers on open sales quotes
  • Maintain regular contact with customers to support engagement and satisfaction
  • Communicate with Sales Engineers as needed
  • Coordinate across Sales, Quality Control, Purchasing, and Shipping on open quotes and orders
  • Resolve order issues by reviewing sales data and work order history
  • Assist with resolving material-related issues, including: Material shortages Inventory discrepancies Operational errors Material receipt discrepancies (multiple heats or partial deliveries)
  • Execute RMAs and monitor returned material to support rework orders
  • Review customer credit requests and submit to Accounting
  • Recommend and assist with implementation of sales process improvements
  • Other Duties as Assigned
