About the Role Seen Health is hiring a Strategic Finance Associate / Senior Associate to support high-impact work across M&A / corporate development, capital raising (debt and equity), and FP&A. This is a hands-on role for someone who has built and owned the financial models that underpin transaction and financing decisions and can translate analysis into crisp leadership recommendations. Healthcare experience is strongly preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 - 5 years of relevant experience (investment banking strongly preferred; also corporate development, transaction advisory, private equity/VC, or strategic finance with meaningful transaction exposure).
  • Direct, hands-on experience building financial models for: M&A transactions (valuation/deal models with sensitivities/scenarios), and Capital raising including both debt and equity (e.g., debt capacity/covenant modeling, dilution/ownership and proceeds modeling, runway/liquidity scenarios).
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets and ability to produce executive-ready materials.
  • Healthcare experience is highly preferred (provider/payor services, value-based care etc.).
  • Accounting knowledge is a plus (strong understanding of financial statements, accruals, working capital, and transaction/accounting implications helpful for diligence and reporting).
  • Experience operating in ambiguous, high-growth environments and communicating clearly with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong ownership, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple fast-moving workstreams with minimal guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Corporate Development / Strategic Finance (M&A) Own end-to-end M&A modeling workstreams from initial evaluation through diligence and final recommendation.
  • Build and manage valuation and deal models (DCF, comps, precedents; sensitivities/scenarios; synergy and downside cases) with audit-ready structure and transparent assumptions.
  • Pressure-test target forecasts and unit economics; identify key value drivers and risk factors.
  • Produce investment memos, board/executive decks, and decision frameworks that clearly communicate model outputs and implications.
  • Partner cross-functionally and with external advisors (bankers, legal, accounting, consultants) to run deal timelines and close analytical gaps.
  • Support integration planning and post-close performance tracking when applicable.
  • Capital Raising Build and maintain financing models to support capital raises, including debt capacity, covenant/coverage analysis, dilution scenarios, and liquidity/runway planning.
  • Support lender and investor processes: data requests, diligence materials, and Q&A; help shape key messages and metrics.
  • Analyze and compare financing options (structure, cost of capital, terms, risks) and make recommendations to leadership.
  • FP&A / Business Finance Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning; improve models connecting operating KPIs to financial outcomes.
  • Own monthly performance reporting: variance analysis, KPI dashboards, and actionable insights.
  • Partner with functional leaders to evaluate investments and track ROI; improve planning/reporting cadence and automation.
