What You Bring to Cambia: Qualifications: Strategic Finance Analyst typically requires a bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, or statistics. CPA, CMA, MBA or ASA, along with health insurance experience preferred plus 5-7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strategic Finance Analyst Senior typically requires a bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, economics or statistics. CPA, CMA, MBA or ASA, along with health insurance experience preferred plus 7-9 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Skills and Attributes: Working knowledge of applicable statutes, policies and procedures in a specific functional area. Readily identifies and effectively articulates issues and alternatives. Demonstrated success with repeated solid decision-making. Demonstrated effectiveness in communications, including the ability to extract and articulate key business issues in a manner that is meaningful to the audience. Demonstrated knowledge of business principles, theories, and concepts, as well as knowledge in multiple business areas (e.g. operations, HR, marketing, health care services, etc.). Proven track record in providing solid consultation, education, and influence to the business. What You Will Do at Cambia: This position will have a mix of traditional financial planning and budgeting (FP&A), with business case and ad hoc analysis work (from staffing models to contract/RFP analysis work) and will support the Claims and Payment Integrity areas which are subdivisions of the Health Plan Operations division. This position will also be involved in our BluePath program, which integrates Cost Stewardship and Payment Integrity programs into a shared savings workflow to make healthcare affordable to our members and price competitive for our self-insured group business. Work Environment No unusual working conditions. Work primarily performed in office environment.
