About The Position

As a Strategic Finance Advisor Manager – Direct Sourcing, you will play a critical role in analyzing financial results for our Supply Chain Sourcing team, specifically Direct Sourcing. You will be the strategic financial advisor partnering with our Direct Sourcing team driving productivity and cost savings using data to provide actionable insights to your business partners. Your expertise will directly impact decision-making processes. You will work within finance but will be exposed to all areas of the business, making this an amazing opportunity for an individual who can analyze data and work cross-functionally. The ideal candidate will have experience providing financial support to a Supply Chain organization and partnering with Sourcing, Manufacturing, Distribution, Forecasting, and Logistics. This is a highly visible role, reporting out ideas and results to Finance leadership and the broader Acuity organization.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
3-5 years of financial analysis experience, ideally in a Manufacturing, Sourcing or Logistics environment
Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, OneStream, and other ERP systems
Broad understanding of US GAAP
Travel Requirements10-25% Domestic and International Travel

Responsibilities

Provide actionable insights to your process partners to drive positive financial outcomes
Create a vision and build financial reporting and metrics for the Direct Sourcing function
Lead and manage cross functional financial reviews with process partners
Be the Finance link for Supply Chain and Cost Accounting, as they relate to Direct Material Sourcing
Ultimately, you will make an impact on our company by helping us drive productivity and increase profitability by supporting the Indirect Sourcing Organization.
