About The Position

Overview: Quinnipiac University invites applications for a Strategic Enrollment and Financial Analyst. In this role you will play a key role in enhancing Quinnipiac’s existing data infrastructure and reporting systems to provide actionable information for managing enrollment and expenses. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of enrollment, finance, and academic planning. Working collaboratively with deans, Admissions and Enrollment, Budget and Finance, and the Provost’s Office, this individual will serve as the university’s lead analyst for enrollment forecasting, retention analysis, and financial aid modeling in support of annual and multi-year budget planning. Enrollment strategy and financial planning are central to Quinnipiac’s continued growth and success. This role offers the opportunity to influence university-wide decisions, collaborate with senior academic leadership, and drive data-informed strategy at a critical level. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 3-5 years of experience in higher education, preferably in enrollment modeling and/or business analytics
• Comprehensive understanding of student behaviors in higher education, including retention, transfer, change of major, graduation, and other enrollment patterns
• Advanced data analysis skills. Ability to work with large data sets by building queries to extract, aggregate, and clean data to ensure reporting accuracy
• Experience with developing and maintaining user-friendly dashboards and
• Ability to collaborate and communicate with Deans, department/chairs, and others to identify and resolve data projections for classes for each major/program of study
• Excellent communication skills
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from varied backgrounds

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in higher education and/or data analysis/statistics preferred

Responsibilities

• Forecast tuition revenue based on enrollment trends to inform institutional leadership decision-making regarding budgets and resource allocations.
• Assist the schools with managing their budgets by providing tools to forecast enrollment and revenue at the program level.
• Create and maintain models of actual student flow through the institution and use the models to simulate the effect of proposed changes on budget and enrollment practices, project future enrollment, retention and graduation rates.
• Prepare standardized reports and dashboards for regularly monitoring student enrollment data against goals and detect anomalies that could indicate need for tactical changes.
• Develop tools and reports for schools and academic programs to assist with managing expense budgets.
• Participate in design and implementation of enrollment models in a planning system.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
