This role is central to our team’s success, responsible for the prioritization, planning, and reporting of strategic workstreams. You will act as a critical bridge between business intent and operational reality, collaborating with senior leaders to build frameworks that track progress against our KPIs and OKRs. The ideal candidate is a versatile and technically proficient problem-solver who can navigate the Capital One landscape with ease. You will oversee complex change management processes to ensure our team is operationally ready and that we proactively mitigate risks.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certification.
  • At least 3 years of experience in project, product, or program management.
  • At least 3 years of people management experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing stakeholders across diverse business functions.
  • At least 2 years of experience using Google Suite or Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience.
  • PMP, Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma certification.
  • 5+ years of experience in people leadership.
  • 8+ years of project or program management experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in commercial banking.
  • 5+ years of experience partnering with and influencing internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Execute thorough planning and prioritization processes across Business Operations to ensure alignment with broader organizational goals.
  • Drive resource capacity planning exercises in close collaboration with key business partners to optimize team output.
  • Manage large-scale change management efforts to ensure operational readiness and mitigate organizational risk.
  • Collaborate with a diverse group of partners, including Product, Tech, Underwriting, Fraud, Risk, and Compliance.
  • Deliver clear, structured, and compelling messages (verbal and written) to audiences ranging from junior associates to senior leadership.
  • Own the reporting and escalation structures, providing high-leverage insights for MBRs and newsletters while applying strong judgment to identify issues requiring attention.
  • Leverage AI capabilities and emerging technologies to drive process efficiencies and "re-imagine" the status quo.
