About The Position

Ibis Public Sector seeks a skilled and dynamic Strategic Communications Management Analyst to engage with customers and facilitate a variety of events, including roundtables and small group discussions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating, facilitating, and ensuring the success of events designed to enhance engagement, promote strategic initiatives, and strengthen relationships with stakeholders. This role requires excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, as well as the ability to adapt to diverse audiences and environments. In this role, the ideal candidate will develop material, facilitate events, and produce after-action reports and other output. This is a remote-first position, but candidates must be located near the Greater DC Area for occasional onsite meetings. Note: This is a temporary contract position.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have an active DHS Public Trust Clearance
  • 3+ years of relevant experience, supporting federal product development and deployment initiatives
  • Strong facilitation skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience with cyber policy research
  • Proficiency in event technology and collaboration tools
  • Demonstrated excellent technical writing and presentation skills; experience with creating and presenting executive level presentations, briefs, and reports to multiple technical and non-technical internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple work streams, competing requirements and multiple schedules and to facilitate coordination and reconciliation between different stakeholders with the aim of delivering a comprehensive solution that exceeds expectations
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers and stakeholders
  • Develop pre-event material involving preparation
  • Develop roster and engagement plan
  • Collaborate with teams to coordinate logistics, event set up, and strategic plans
  • Conduct audience acquisition
  • Facilitate meetings so that event participants and stakeholders accomplish the goals
  • Track actions and next steps for stakeholders
  • Provide metrics and adoption of meeting outcomes and practices
  • Collect and analyze feedback from participants, including surveys
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Identify, map, and segment internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop targeted engagement plans tailored to stakeholder priorities and influence levels
