About The Position

R&P is looking for an experienced Program Analyst with a background in Navy Acquisition or Navy operations who wants to join our team as the Strategic Communications Analyst supporting the new construction program office for the Navy's newest class of Frigate. We are a mid-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We need a Program Analyst with a strong acquisition background ready to join a fast-paced and exciting program.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or a minimum 7 Years Experience working with the NAVSEA/DOD Acqusition Community
• 10 years professional experience
• 5 years DoW/Navy Program or active duty operational experience
• Knowldege of DoW/DoN Procedures and Policies
• Expertise in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite: PowerPoint, Word, Excel
• Active Secret Clearance (DoD)

Responsibilities

• Strategic Communications – Acts as the Program Integration Task Lead in direct support of the GOV Program Management team of the Frigate shipbuilding program office. The position is responsible for the design and development of internal and external communications, driving alignment of Program Office status and strategies across high-level Congressional, DoW, and DoN leadership, and Program Stakeholders.
• Requires significant critical thinking and visualization skills in order to articulate complex ideas in a meaningful way, and to establish connectivity and relationships across products required to align with multi-faceted stakeholder viewpoints.
• Direct interface with GOV military and civilian personnel in the development of communication and briefing products supporting the entire Acquisition Program Office portfolio
