About The Position

STCM 33000-01 Advertising Copywriting and Art Direction – Professor Mark Addona General duties will include: Assisting students in the Adobe Creative Suite programs, such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, AfterEffects and InDesign Holding group and/or individual office hour sessions with students Assisting with Canvas updates Assisting with demos for specific tasks in programs to assist students Performing relevant industry research for presentations as well as mockup research and creation Assisting with class critiques

Requirements

• Student must have taken the course before and received at least an A.
• Student must be available during either section 1 or section 2 of the class.
• Assistants will be expected to have advanced knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, AfterEffects and InDesign to assist them with completing their projects.

Responsibilities

• Assisting students in the Adobe Creative Suite programs, such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, AfterEffects and InDesign
• Holding group and/or individual office hour sessions with students
• Assisting with Canvas updates
• Assisting with demos for specific tasks in programs to assist students
• Performing relevant industry research for presentations as well as mockup research and creation
• Assisting with class critiques
• Meet with the faculty member teaching the course to learn about the elements within each program that may be needed to complete the projects.
