About The Position

Develop, align and implement commodity strategy Understand commodity landscape in order to forecast industry trends and gauge emerging competitive forces Negotiate, manage and maintain supplier agreements that provide optimal terms Direct new supplier engagement and/or disengagement requirements to the Lam supply base Collaborate across the Lam organization to ensure business objectives are met The ability to identify potential supply issues and communicate findings to senior leaders Drive resolution of systemic supply chain issues affecting cost, delivery, quality, service and development support Optimize supply chain/supplier performance through cost, capacity scenario analysis and benchmarking Develop and present high-level cost savings opportunities Drive formal supplier performance reviews Manage supply chain disruptions in real time with support from Lam Global Operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a technical field listed herein (but not limited to) the following: Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering
  • 12 years of experience in a Supply Chain, Operations, or production/planning environment. Preferably in Semiconductor industry.
  • Ability to understanding Power Supply technical documents (i.e., specifications/schematics/drawings) and function within semiconductor manufacturing tools
  • Exceptional interpersonal relationship skills and professional level of emotional intelligence necessary to achieve the desired objective deliverables.
  • Proven experience of strong analytical and problem-solving skills with history of successful resolution
  • Excellent analytical and written/oral communication skills with ability to communicate cross-functionally and with various levels of the organization, including executives
