In this role you will plan and execute strategy for key commodities, promote
supplier collaboration and cross functional engagement of suppliers and key YAI
stakeholders, including Product Management, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain
Management and Quality. You will represent Strategic Sourcing in key
cross-functional efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or Business Administration
• 7+ years of strategic sourcing experience
• demonstrated experience in negotiations, supplier contracts, cost reduction initiatives, and supporting manufacturing operations
• Extensive experience in sourcing sheet metal fabrications and precision machining along with some experience in sourcing plastic components
• Expertise in effective application of strategic sourcing methodologies and tools, including TCO, VAVE, LCC Sourcing and Make-vs-Buy processes
• Must be highly analytical
• demonstrate strong leadership skills and creative problem solving abilities

Nice To Haves

• MBA or Masters of Engineering degree
• Experience in directly sourcing raw materials
