About The Position

As the newest member of our team, you’ll own expansion across a portfolio of existing major enterprise accounts — deepening relationships, increasing learner license adoption, and expanding our enterprise learning platform, SimGate’s, footprint inside some of the world’s most complex organizations. This is a quota-carrying, farmer-style Account Manager role. You’re an experienced enterprise seller with at least 12 years of enterprise sales experience with a background in learning, instructional design, or L&D. You excel at account strategy, consultative selling, and guiding clients through learning transformation in the AI era. Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree and 12+ years of professional experience with at least 4 years selling into major enterprise accounts in a quota-driven environment - Fortune 500 and global professional services firms
  • Background in instructional design, learning experience design, or corporate L&D
  • Strong understanding of enterprise learning ecosystems and learning technology platforms
  • Proven success in consultative selling - exceeding quotas in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
  • Outstanding presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills – translating technical capabilities into business value
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills engaging mid-level to VP stakeholders and confidently building long-term relationships
  • Entrepreneurial mindset – driven, confident, and solution-oriented
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment where adaptability and self-sufficiency are essential
  • Personal ethic grounded in empathy, inclusion, and collaboration

Responsibilities

  • Driving and exceeding expansion revenue targets across an assigned portfolio of existing Fortune 500 and global enterprise accounts
  • Growing the SimGate footprint by expanding learner licenses, use cases, and stakeholder adoption
  • Developing and executing strategic, multi-year account plans aligned to each client’s learning needs and business priorities
  • Building and strengthening trusted relationships with mid-level leaders through VP-level stakeholders
  • Identifying expansion opportunities through deep discovery across business units, regions, and learning initiatives
  • Partnering closely with Customer Success to ensure exceptional experiences that drive retention and expansion
  • Sharing voice-of-customer insights with Product and Marketing to inform platform evolution and positioning
  • Thriving in a scrappy, fast-moving startup environment with high ownership and autonomy
