About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Strategic Account Executive to join our team in the Albany, NY or Metro NY region! As a Strategic Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing large, strategic institutional clients while also expanding our relationship by introducing focus specialty products, analytical platforms, workflow efficiencies, and other opportunities to them. You will be the leadership's main point of contact, managing the day-to-day efforts, spending time and maintaining relationships with key decision makers, managing customer dynamics, and solving problems to ensure high levels of customer service and customer experience. The territory covers: NY, CT, RI, MA, VT, NH, ME. We are seeking a competitive and collaborative individual with excellent communication and business acumen skills who enjoys growing and working with a high-performing team across a wide variety of areas. Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 3 or more years' experience sales within the healthcare industry
  • 1 or more years' experience managing a book of business
  • In-depth knowledge of client relationship management strategies and high level of customer service skills
  • Effective interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong presentation skills to engage with a wide range of leaders from Director level to C Suite
  • Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, competitive market
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
  • The ideal candidate will reside within the Albany or Metro NY region

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 or more years' experience in sales or account management within the healthcare industry

Responsibilities

  • Develop and establish client relationship management strategies
  • Maintain high levels of customer service and ensure customer retention
  • Communicate with clients to monitor client expectations and satisfaction
  • Recommend and implement opportunities to improve key client relationships
  • Act as a liaison between the client and the Labcorp operations and sales team in relation to client needs
  • Provide ongoing service and timely resolution to customer base
  • Handle client queries and find solutions to complex problems
  • Recommend client-focused solutions
  • Identify and analyze customer preferences to properly direct sales efforts
  • Collaborate with leadership and sales teams to service and grow book of business
  • Meet and exceed monthly retention and growth goals
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and facilitate timely interventions
