Join our team! The Strategic Account Executive position will make sales contacts, research customer needs, provide solutions and develop application of products and services in an effective manner. The ideal candidate will be able to forecast sales activity and revenue achievement, while creating satisfied customers. This position will report directly to the Director of Sales in Dallas, TX. Client Relationship Management: The Strategic Account Executive identifies and develops professional relationships with key clients and C-level client executives and is tasked with identifying opportunities to create value using Standley’s technologies and services. They work with clients to develop solutions that either solve a business problem or generate new revenue opportunities. Building on the portfolio of service offerings and capabilities, the Strategic Account Executive engages resources and leads strategy to develop a client-specific solution to improve the document-intensive business process. The Strategic Account Executive collaborates with the MPS and Solutions teams to bring high level expertise to the solution development. The Strategic Account Executive is responsible for generating revenue from new clients and existing clients by establishing strong relationships and credibility with key executives. Business to business full sales cycle experience including business development, needs analysis, solutions development, securing contracts, implementation, and account management.

Requirements

  • Highly organized and able to multi-task
  • Experience working with “C” level contacts
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Bachelor’s degree and three years B2B sales experience
  • Good driving record, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance
  • The successful candidate will be an experienced producer who has worked in solution selling and professional services organization(s).
  • Established a proven track record of achieving and exceeding consistent revenue and gross profit targets including quota achievement.
  • Shown distinctive competence in managing the complete document lifecycle of the complex sale.
  • Experience developing business plans and understanding of vertical market industry solutions.
  • Business maturity and consultative skills (problem solving, negotiation, assessment, speaking/presentations, technical writing, listening, facilitation, project management, ability to influence, and management of billable work.
  • Consultative approach to selling

  • Ability to effectively leverage resources (example manufacturer reps, specialists and technical staff)
  • Overall drive for positive business results.
  • Must be able to pass drug and alcohol screen.
  • Standley Systems has federal contracts that require compliance with the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988, therefore medical marijuana license-holders who test positive for marijuana will not be qualified for the position.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop and close new and existing opportunities that result in substantial bookings and profit margins.
  • Identify, pursue, and close business opportunities that leverage the company’s successes and maximize cross-selling opportunities into MPS and other business process automation solutions.
  • Become a trusted advisor on solutions that address client’s business challenges.
  • Participate with the account planning and strategy development.
  • Implement and manage account services, customer service and performance management.
  • Establish and maintain internal and external professional relationships that meet our core values.
  • Prepare quotes for potential customers
  • Maintain all quote documentation with accurate pricing and configurations
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations in a professional and effective manner
  • Manage and maintain current customer accounts in an assigned and protected territory
  • Expand products and services within current customer accounts
  • Maintain a high level of industry, technology and competitive expertise
  • Manage customer and prospect data in our database
  • Leverage business from new and established customer relationships.
