About the Role We are looking for a Strategic Account Executive focused on the Healthcare vertical. The ideal candidate is able to create and drive qualified opportunities into net new strategic healthcare accounts including hospital systems, health plans, pharmaceutical companies, and healthcare service organizations. This person has the ability to educate clients on our vision and tailor it to the unique challenges facing healthcare organizations—from clinical workforce shortages to compliance requirements and healthcare-specific talent strategies. We are looking for a motivated and experienced sales professional who is a self-starter and able to expand the Eightfold client base within healthcare by working with the sales team, sales engineering, and our implementation and technology partners. The ideal candidate is located in the Central / Northeast of the United States, however the territory is nationwide. Considerations outside the region will be made based on healthcare vertical experience and ability to travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
  • 10+ Years of enterprise-level sales experience
  • 5+ years of experience selling into healthcare organizations (hospital systems, health plans, pharmaceutical, healthcare services)
  • 2+ years with C-Suite interactions
  • Experience with SaaS solution selling

  • Healthcare Industry Expertise:
  • Deep understanding of healthcare workforce challenges (clinical talent shortages, credentialing, compliance, shift-based management) and labor market dynamics
  • Knowledge of healthcare-specific compliance requirements (HIPAA, credentialing, licensing)
  • Sales Experience:
  • Proven track record selling Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and HR platforms to large healthcare systems, IDNs, and health plans
  • Established relationships at CHRO, CNIO, CIO, or CFO levels
  • Experience driving RFPs/RFIs in healthcare procurement environments
  • Strong territory management and ability to prioritize high-volume opportunities for quarterly bookings
  • Comfortable with challenger sales methodology

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed assigned sales objectives and quotas, and build new revenue streams within healthcare accounts
  • Expand and grow the business with new healthcare clients, existing healthcare clients, and healthcare-focused solution or implementation partners
  • Execute plans to increase product exposure within healthcare systems and identify key market opportunities and growth areas in the healthcare vertical
  • Target competitor clients through dedicated sales campaigns with the SDR team, focusing on healthcare organizations
  • Create the need for an RFP and/or respond to, or assist partners with RFP's, bids and other tenders specific to healthcare procurement processes
  • Convert Sales qualified leads into direct deals and assist partners in developing and managing sales pipeline to achieve revenue goals in healthcare
  • Lead business planning and quarterly review process as well as regular pipeline review and forecasting activities focused on healthcare accounts
  • Work with healthcare clients and partners based on mutual trust and respect. Transparency and clear communications skills are vital for this role
  • Stay current on competitor offerings in the healthcare space and leverage their vulnerabilities in Eightfold's favor
  • Influence client decisions and advocate for client needs to negotiate win-win solutions that address healthcare workforce challenges
