About The Position

This role is focused on managing and expanding strategic relationships with growth and mid-market communications platform customers. You will drive consultative, data-driven sales cycles, delivering revenue, gross margin, and customer value across complex, compliance-heavy accounts. Success in this position depends on building deep partnerships across product, finance, support, and operations teams. The role requires strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to influence technical and business leaders alike. You will proactively identify opportunities, champion customer needs internally, and ensure consistent, measurable account growth. The position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, remote-first environment while impacting large-scale global accounts.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in strategic or major account management.
  • Expertise in managing complex, highly analytical solutions and products for enterprise or mid-market customers.
  • Strong relationship management skills, including cross-sells, upsells, and solutions consulting.
  • Ability to work with both business and technical leaders, influencing decisions and building trust.
  • Analytical mindset to develop account strategies, leverage data, and demonstrate value.
  • Proven track record managing business forecasts and financial models, consistently delivering results.
  • Entrepreneurial approach with ability to define processes and programs for growth.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with telecom, CPaaS, SMS, SaaS/PaaS, DevOps, or other highly quantitative industries, as well as selling through ISV partners.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow strategic customer accounts, focusing on high-value relationships and long-term success.
  • Develop, execute, and adjust account strategies to achieve revenue, gross margin, and profit goals.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, finance, support, and services teams to identify opportunities and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Run highly consultative sales cycles, performing deep discovery and effectively advocating for the customer internally.
  • Maintain accurate sales pipelines and forecasts using CRM tools, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and share insights and best practices with internal teams.
