About The Position

The Strategic Account & Growth Lead is responsible for identifying, developing, and expanding high-value partnerships that drive sustainable growth across Meadows Behavioral Healthcare’s portfolio of programs. In addition to national and enterprise-level strategic relationships, this role carries specific responsibility for growing and strengthening clinical professional relationships throughout Northern California. They will cultivate high-quality connections with therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, treatment programs, health systems, and community partners across the region to elevate referrals, engagement, and brand visibility. This position collaborates closely with Business Development, Intake, Clinical, and Marketing to create alignment, optimize conversion, and enhance the overall partner experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) required.
  • 5+ years of experience in behavioral healthcare business development, referral relations, or strategic partnership management
  • Strong ability to build relationships with clinical professionals, health systems, and executive stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate trends into actionable strategies.
  • Ability to travel frequently within Northern California and as needed across the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to expand MBH’s strategic partnerships and high-potential accounts.
  • Lead targeted growth initiatives in Northern California, focusing on building strong relationships with clinical professionals and key providers.
  • Identify new market opportunities, emerging needs, and referral trends within behavioral health, especially across trauma, mental health, SUD, and specialty programs.
  • Expand MBH’s presence and impact in Northern California through strategic outreach, education, and collaboration.
  • Establish and nurture long-term relationships with therapists, psychiatrists, psychologists, treatment centers, and other BH professionals across Northern California.
  • Conduct routine fieldwork, office visits, clinical presentations, and program tours to foster trust and engagement.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource on MBH programs, clinical philosophies, treatment tracks, and specialty populations.
  • Support local clinicians and referents with high-touch communication, case collaboration, and responsive assistance.
  • Build and maintain relationships with executive-level stakeholders, EAPs, health systems, employers, government agencies, and community networks.
  • Serve as a primary contact for national accounts and enterprise partners.
  • Represent MBH at conferences and events to strengthen visibility and trust within the BH ecosystem.
  • Work closely with Intake, Clinical, Admissions, and Business Development teams to ensure seamless experience for clinical partners and strategic accounts.
  • Partner with Marketing to tailor outreach materials and campaigns to key audiences, particularly in Northern California.
  • Provide insights and feedback to leadership on market trends, partner needs, and program opportunities.
  • Monitor performance of Northern California relationships and strategic accounts using data, referral trends, and feedback loops.
  • Analyze conversion metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare quarterly business reviews for high-impact accounts and regional markets.
  • Coach BD team members when needed to enhance field execution and partnership engagement.
