Arcadis is looking for a Stormwater Transportation Engineer to join our growing design group in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee. In this position, you will work under the direction of the Senior Stormwater Engineer and will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that will challenge you and provide growth in your career! Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or another closely related field

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with drainage design
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
  • Experience with software platforms such as Bentley's StormCAD, CulvertMaster, FlowMaster, and Pond Pack, HEC-RAS, HEC-MS, HY8, ICPR, and/or SWMM

Responsibilities

  • Design numerous drainage and design- build projects including collector streets, urban arterials, rural and urban expressways, interstates, and bridge replacements across the southeast.
  • Helping roadway drainage design including bridge hydraulic studies, culvert design, closed drainage system design, post-construction water quality structures design, and erosion and sedimentation control.
  • Assist with the design and preparation of construction plans using software platforms such as Bentley's StormCAD, CulvertMaster, FlowMaster, HEC-RAS, HY8, ICPR and SWMM
  • Take initiative to take on new projects/challenges regularly and use their organizational skills to balance multiple assignments/activities to meet project deadlines.

  • The salary range for this position is $52,000 - $78,000 Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
