About The Position

Headquartered in Erie, Pennsylvania, we operate globally through numerous subsidiaries and sales representatives. We are currently seeking a Stores Coordinator I to join our team. This role involves receiving direct requests from various departments and advise/fulfil their request as per availability.

Requirements

  • High school diploma preferred
  • Previous job experience preferred but not required
  • Experience working with powered and manual tools is a plus
  • Requires basic math and technical skills.
  • Able to write legibly, read and understand written and verbal instructions.
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and use basic shop math including decimals and fractions.
  • Proficient in using computers and related software for moving and issuing parts within Eriez Manufacturing facilities.
  • Able to use hand tools and power tools safely.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Forklift certification required. Training can be provided through company.
  • Able to perform all receiving duties.

Responsibilities

  • Issue and deliver Storeroom items using picklists and requisitions
  • Place stock in assigned locations, properly labeled
  • Communicate stock shortages and overages
  • Loading or unloading materials manually, off or on pallets, benches, shelves, carts or lifting devices
  • Operate forklifts and motorized pallet jacks
  • Remove scrap wooden crates and skids and sheet metal scraps from the building as needed.
  • Assist on the receiving dock to start learning the process.
  • Unload incoming shipments on receiving dock with forklift, pallet jack.
  • Able to operate tools including but not limited to, hand tools, manual machine tools, torch drill press, etc..
  • Ability to learn and utilize Eriez labor and work order collection system.
  • Maintain clean and safe work area.
  • Report to manager regarding any damage to racks, faulty equipment, or any other safety hazards
  • Commitment to organization and the Eriez 5S initiative
  • Demonstrate a safety focused mindset
  • Complete tasks timely and efficiently in accordance with expectations as directed by manager
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
