Position Summary: The Storeroom Supervisor provides day-to-day supervision to Storeroom employees.

Requirements

Advanced interpersonal skills; able to work well in a team environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable of communicating information to ensure understanding
Skilled user of computer systems and ERP software
Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail; ability to type accurately and proficiently
Able to investigate and resolve operational, procedural, or system-related issues effectively
Quick-learner with the ability to transfer the acquired knowledge to others
Ability to pull, analyze, and present data
Associate's Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain, or four years of relevant equivalent experience preferred
5+ years of experience in warehouse or inventory management preferred
2+ years of experience in a leadership role
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

Responsibilities

Leads and manages all Storeroom personnel through candidate selection, interviewing, onboarding, and employee training
Assumes ownership for the accuracy and reconciliation of inventory transactions within the ERP system
Monitors team member performance through coaching, counseling, and, when necessary, disciplining employees
Schedules and assigns employees to tasks weekly
Determines methods of storage and identification for components, finished goods and work in process
Oversees kitting and receiving operations by coordinating personnel and enforcing company policies
Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing design layouts, periodically inspects current equipment, and creates requisitions for repair or replacement
Routinely reviews Storeroom processes for opportunity to improve efficiency and accuracy
Generates charts and presentations for monthly, quarterly and yearly metrics
Collaborates with Production, Supply Chain, and Engineering leadership to ensure a high level of internal customer satisfaction
Controls inventory accuracy by coordinating and performing inventory counts as needed
