About The Position

The primary role of the Storeroom Clerk is to ensure that all storeroom-related needs of the internal and external customers are met in a manner that meets or exceeds the hotel specifications and standards. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to communicate with hotel guests, suppliers, and colleagues to their understanding.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to provide legible communication.
  • Must be able to complete work in a timely, accurate, and thorough manner.
  • Working knowledge of all storeroom equipment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee, coordinate, and track all receiving and distribution.
  • Manage inventory levels, and track costs.
  • Maintain correct storage of all items; perform monthly inventory.
  • Input, access, and retrieve information on computer systems.
  • Unpack and inspect items received.
  • Strictly adhere to the operating hours of the storeroom.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the storeroom.
  • Follow up on out-of-stock and items not received.
  • Verify that no requisitions are left open.
  • Track receiving of goods, maintain records and complete paperwork, maintain clean work area.
