About The Position

Job Summary Coordinate the daily filling of store room requisitions and delivers the items to the ordering outlet. Responsible for storing away all items that come in from the receiving dock. May require cleaning duties. The key role of a Storeroom Clerk – is to help the maintenance department’s storeroom in maintaining accurate and correct levels of parts/equipment inventory to help operate and maintain production equipment to manage costs, quality, waste and on time delivery. May require cleaning duties. The key role of a Storeroom Clerk – is to help the maintenance department’s storeroom in maintaining accurate and correct levels of parts/equipment inventory to help operate and maintain production equipment to manage costs, quality, waste and on time delivery. Typical duties of the job include, but are not limited to: 1. Communicate clearly in English both verbally and written 2. Wear appropriate required safety gear 3. Attend work regularly and reliably 4. Work overtime as scheduled or directed 5. Perform other duties as assigned 6. Operate computers to access/utilize company e-mail and to monitor equipment 7. Demonstrate awareness of and compliance with all pertinent safety policies and procedures 8. Maintain a clean and organized work environment 9. Operate mobile equipment in a safe manner 10. Participate in work related training programs and adhere to Company Core Values 11. Report pertinent information to appropriate company personnel 12. Verify receiving and shipping paperwork and internal written request documents 13. Maintain inventory and parts for count and accuracy 14. Stock and re-stock parts and inventory 15. Receive incoming shipments 16. Coordinate outgoing shipments 17. Deliver packages/parts to various departments and designated areas 18. Monitor consignment parts 19. Assist production personnel in part identification 20. Issue tools and safety items per authorized requests 21. Create, stock and organize new part locations 22. Monitor personnel into and out of stockroom 23. Perform the physical job demands 24. Creation (build, label, check, weigh, verify) of a Job Kit 25. Perform job duties in a manner that follow food safety and quality guidelines including but not limited to HACCP, GMPs, QA Policies, Sanitation, and Pest Control.
