About The Position

As a part of our manufacturing group, you will be responsible for keeping storeroom organized, clean, and safe. While issuing parts to maintenance personnel on request in an efficient manner. Shift hours: Weekly Rotating 8-hour shifts 8-hour swing shift schedule rotation every week 1st shift: 6:00 am to 2:00 pm 2nd shift: 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm 3rd shift: 10:00 pm to 6:00 am Rotation is 1 week on 1st shift, then 1 week on 2nd shift, then 1 week of 3rd shift Ability and willingness to work overtime, any shift, including days, nights, weekends and holidays Plant operation is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week Pay: $23.04 per hour for 36 months of employment (90% of full rate of pay) $25.60 per hour after 36 months of employment (100% of full rate of pay) Shift Differential Additional $.34 per hour for hours worked on 2nd shift Additional $.41 per hour for hours worked on 3rd shift Overtime pay Time worked after 8 hours of work is paid at 1.5 times regular rate of pay Time worked on Saturday is paid at 1.5 times regular rate of pay Time worked on Sunday is paid at 2 times (double pay) regular rate of pay Benefits: Great paid time off benefits 401(k) match, Pension! Requirements

Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Demonstrated leadership ability
Proficiency in basic computer skills
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting over surfaces
Ability to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platforms
Ability to wear protective clothing and equipment such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, a hard hat, a hair/beard net and gloves when required
Willing and able to adhere to all grooming requirements necessary for a food manufacturing environment
Ability to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet environmental working conditions
Willing to work around industrial high-speed moving machinery
Ability to work with allergens that might be present in a food environment

Responsibilities

Follow all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Issue parts to maintenance personnel on request in an efficient manner.
Maintain storeroom security.
Issue parts immediately in the Maximo system.
Unpack, sort, arrange and place inventoried items in proper location. Clerk will make sure items are tagged with the proper GMI P/N.
Responsible for reorganization of the storeroom, and the bar coding of all items in the storeroom. Each clerk will be assigned a designated area of the storeroom to organize and maintain.
Keep storeroom organized, clean, and safe.
Aid in identification of slow moving, obsolete, and substandard inventory.
Track and communicate inventory shortage situations to the Buyer or Storeroom Manager.
Cycle count “X” amount of items and enter the data into the current inventory system. Investigate significant stock adjustments.
Inventory free-stock items, ex. Conduit, sheet metal, angle iron, etc.
Handle emergency orders.
Assist the Receiving Clerk.
Attend Plant Wide Communication Meetings and Safety Meetings as required.
Perform other functions for an efficient storeroom operation as assigned by the Storeroom Manager.
Attend meetings and trainings as required
Perform additional related tasks as assigned
