About The Position

Brown Jug is a premium retailer of wine, beer, and spirits, offering a great place to work with a friendly atmosphere and energetic work environment. They provide customers with convenience, selection, and top-notch service. This position will support store 262, Northern Lights/Spenard at 1203 W. Northern Lts Blvd, in Anchorage. The company promotes a team atmosphere that is busy and challenging, but always aims to be co-operative and fun, treating employees with respect and support. As a Store Sales Associate, you will be expected to provide great customer service to every person who walks into the store, process customer transactions at the register, participate in stocking and merchandising of store and ensure that the store is clean and organized.

Requirements

Must be a minimum of 21 years of age or older

Nice To Haves

Have or obtain an Alcohol Server Card
High School diploma or equivalent
First-Aid Certificate is considered an asset
Training or passion for wine/beer/spirits

Responsibilities

Deliver great customer service
Maintain a professional appearance and attitude
Complete customer transactions on the Point-of-Sale (POS) device, including payment
Assist customer from store and/or offer car service when appropriate
Stock shelves and cooler with product
Help keep the store clean and organized
Other duties as assigned
