About The Position

The Store Sales Associate assists customers with their product needs and provides the excellent customer service Florida Paints is known for. The Store Sales Associate works with their store team to maintain the store, its inventory and its operations.

Requirements

High School Diploma
Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays
One Year experience is preferred, but not required
Valid driver’s license
Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check and drug test

The employee must be able to lift and/or move 50 to 75 pounds.
Additionally, the employee must be able to stand on their feet for long periods of time with frequent bending.

Responsibilities

Assists customers with determining their needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
Assists customers with orders, questions and concerns.
Assists with the taking of inventories, reconciling cash with sales receipts, keeping accurate records of colors and pricing and dot cards for each color made. Performs various of duties of all store personnel whenever needed.
Handle customer inquiries via the telephone by providing accurate information regarding products and product applications and process telephone orders accordingly.
Ensure sales transactions are completed accurately.
Maintain accurate work order files and formulas as needed.
Document and refer potential customer leads to manager and/or sales rep.
Answer customer’s complaints or inquiries.
Ensure customers’ quality and service expectations are met.
Pull appropriate products from sales floor or warehouse, tint and mix to customer specifications.
Ensure order forms are properly completed, place order and follow-up as necessary.
Record information on appropriate forms for proper completion of orders/ requests and process in a timely manner.
Restocks shelves with paint and sundry supplies.
Operate the POS for all types of transactions.
Ensure merchandise has been processed through POS or recorded prior to merchandise leaving the store.
Assist in making deliveries and warehouse duties, as required.
Ensures that the assigned Florida Paints location is kept clean and orderly.
Other miscellaneous tasks, as needed.
