A Parts Professional provides prompt and courteous service to all customers over the telephone, in the store, or in the dealer’s shop. This role involves looking up parts applications in catalogs or the POS system, processing orders with accuracy and efficiency, and assisting customers with their needs, including technical questions. The Parts Professional is expected to have a thorough knowledge of products, performance standards, warranties, sales programs, and operating policies, and to serve as a resource for advice to other store personnel.
