A Parts Professional provides prompt and courteous service to all customers over the telephone, in the store, or in the dealer’s shop. This role involves looking up parts applications in catalogs or the POS system and processing orders with a high degree of accuracy, efficiency, and courtesy. The professional assists and advises customers on how to best meet their needs, often dealing with questions and problems of a highly technical nature. They must exhibit a thorough knowledge of products, performance standards, warranties, sales programs, and operating policies, and serve as a resource for advice to other store personnel.
