The Store/Night Dept Leader is responsible for creating an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service and by establishing and maintaining a safe and clean environment that encourages customers to return. This role involves directing and supervising all functions, duties, and activities for the department, specifically supporting the day-to-day functions of the Grocery operations. The leader is expected to embrace the Customer 1st strategy and encourage associates to deliver excellent customer service, while demonstrating the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of others. The position requires the ability to work cooperatively in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment, manage conflict in a reasonable and nonconfrontational manner, and act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information. It also involves following directions, seeking assistance when necessary, and providing support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and/or older adults. The incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
