About The Position

NECOA, by COWAY and 2020 Companies have partnered to hire an experienced Retail Store Manager! NECOA stores are an interactive mall retail space designed to treat shoppers to an immersive experience with NECOA’s water purification products and services. At a NECOA retail store, we want customers to learn by experiencing NECOA products first-hand while receiving world-class service and sales experience. As the Store Manager, you will build the best direct-to-consumer retail experience. You are empathetic and composed, setting the pace and energy for all customers. You have an entrepreneurial spirit and treat each customer like they are your last. You will also be accountable for purchase transactions, customer installation scheduling, and POS register processes and procedures. In addition, the Store Manager will be accountable for the store’s overall performance.

Requirements

  • 6-8 years of experience in large big-box or specialty retailer
  • 6-8 years of experience leading a team of associates
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively with minimal supervision
  • Positive attitude and ability to adjust as changes occur
  • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships across cross-functional teams

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university and 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Water filtration experience is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Drive overall store performance through effective sales floor leadership
  • Deliver excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Create a clean environment and maintain visual merchandising standards
  • Oversee direct and indirect sales associates on all sales behaviors, promotions, and operational processes
  • Conduct new hire orientation and provide continuous training and development of the store team
  • Accountable for all Launch and Holiday preparedness
  • Ensure labor spend is within the corporate-provided labor budgets
  • Responsible for managing store profitability, meeting P&L targets
  • Partner with cross-functional team members as needed to maintain store operations including, store technology, supply chain, repairs and maintenance, marketing, and visual merchandising
