Requirements

  • High School Degree with five (5) years related business management experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Skilled in oral and written communications.
  • Working knowledge of all types of oilfield equipment, including line pipe and OCTG.
  • Inventory control experience, sales, customer management, and basic accounting skills.
  • Working knowledge of sales and marketing techniques, financial principles, and store-specific computer operations.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, digital, or diagrammatic form.
  • Safety-minded and proactive in safe operating practices.
  • English language fluency, verbal and written.
  • Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check, credit check and drug/alcohol test.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train and develop store employees.
  • Responsible for defining and communicating the role of each individual staff member and holding them accountable to those expectations; perform required performance appraisals for staff and, if required, disciplinary action.
  • Pricing of goods and services to recover all costs, expenses, allocations, and deliver the targeted financial results.
  • Track expenses to minimize waste and inefficiencies.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and productive work environment, setting clear expectations for employees, providing regular feedback and support, and addressing any performance issues that arise.
  • Manage inventory to have the right products ‘on the shelf’, in the right quantities to meet customer demands through the E21 system (MRP).
  • Develop annual business plans and quarterly forecasts with help of store staff and corporate guidance.
  • Ensure all Toolpushers Supply LLC practices, policies, and procedures are followed and executed in a timely and effective manner.   Recommend updates/changes if/as needed to keep them relevant to operating and delivering the financial results.
  • Develop and manage a Market Analysis and Sales Strategy with Sales Representatives to retain customers as well as identify opportunities to penetrate new markets, offer new products, and attract new customers.
  • Develop and lead a culture of Safety for all employees.
  • Participate in industry-related social functions and professional organizations as a representative of Toolpushers Supply LLC.
