About The Position
The Store Manager leads the team in creating an energetic, welcoming environment that reflects prAna’s spirit of movement, adventure, and mindful living. This role drives exceptional guest experiences, strong business results, and meaningful community connections. You’ll oversee all aspects of store operations—team leadership, recruiting, merchandising, scheduling, payroll, marketing, and financial performance—while using data and insight to guide smart decisions. As a brand ambassador, you’ll coach and inspire your team, elevate customer engagement, and cultivate a workplace that reflects prAna’s inclusive values.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree, applicable certification, or equivalent experience, with 5–10 years of retail management experience (high‑volume or specialty retail preferred).
- Proven experience leading teams or managing individual contributors, with strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
- Passion for customer service and sales, with enthusiasm for the prAna lifestyle and brand values.
- Strong problem‑solving ability to address technical, operational, and organizational challenges that impact store performance.
- Digitally fluent, including proficiency with POS systems, retail technology, and common software tools.
- Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast‑paced retail environment.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and short‑notice coverage.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team while coaching ongoing growth and succession.
- Build an inclusive, engaged culture and ensure accurate performance, payroll, and documentation processes.
- Oversee daily operations, including inventory, merchandising, loss prevention, and financial procedures.
- Create and adjust schedules, ensuring productive staffing, accurate transactions, and operational compliance.
- Use sales data, customer feedback, and trends to guide decisions and support a seamless omnichannel experience.
- Drive brand presence through storytelling, marketing initiatives, visual merchandising, community partnerships, and leadership visits.
