About The Position

Eataly is hiring a Store Development Intern for Summer 2026 to work with and learn from Eataly’s Development Team. This internship is a unique opportunity for hands-on, professional experience with a fun and dynamic team. Get a taste of what life is like as an Eatalian! With the guidance of the Director and Project Mangers of the Development team, the intern will: Learn about Eataly’s strategies, systems, processes, and tools within the Development team Review, organize and categorize vendor catalogs, pricing lists, and contact information Support procurement across the team Research potential suppliers, communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes, receive samples when applicable and help evaluate vendor performance and pricing Analyze spend data, track market prices for cost saving opportunities Create a digital catalogue, organized by department, of all essential items from key vendors Monitor the documents in Eataly’s project platform and file the new documents appropriately Adapt new techniques and new training on rolling out the new catalogues within the Development team Design and create a final presentation by creating an SOP on how processes work together in and what advantages/disadvantages Eataly could face with it Create a database of key project documents for all existing Eataly locations Perform other duties as required or assigned This internship runs from June - August. The internship is onsite at Eataly’s corporate offices in Manhattan, NY. The intern will be scheduled per week, Monday – Thursday from 9 am – 6 pm. Internships at Eataly are paid an hourly rate. Housing and transportation costs are the responsibility of the intern.

Requirements

  • Actively pursuing an undergraduate degree, preferably with an interest in design/construction, real estate, and/or project management
  • Exceptional communication skills, along with administrative work.
  • Basic knowledge of excel and PowerPoint
  • Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to take direction and work independently

Responsibilities

  • Learn about Eataly’s strategies, systems, processes, and tools within the Development team
  • Review, organize and categorize vendor catalogs, pricing lists, and contact information
  • Support procurement across the team
  • Research potential suppliers, communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes, receive samples when applicable and help evaluate vendor performance and pricing
  • Analyze spend data, track market prices for cost saving opportunities
  • Create a digital catalogue, organized by department, of all essential items from key vendors
  • Monitor the documents in Eataly’s project platform and file the new documents appropriately
  • Adapt new techniques and new training on rolling out the new catalogues within the Development team
