About The Position

In this role, you will ensure a safe and clean environment in all areas of the store. You will perform daily store cleaning tasks effectively and efficiently and complete operational processes as needed to provide an excellent customer experience. This role involves cleaning all areas of the store (e.g., floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) following Kohl's best practices and standards procedures, guidelines, and methods. You will utilize only approved chemicals, supplies, and equipment to ensure a safe and clean environment, and maintain levels of company-approved chemicals and supplies by placing orders to replenish when supplies are low, ensuring supplies are rotated and stored in proper containers in preparation for their use. The role also requires completing and maintaining required training for chemical, equipment, and maintenance, and routinely completing basic equipment maintenance. You will effectively use Kohl's tools and technology to plan, communicate and share information with the store team, and support the operations team to receive and process product, execute stockroom operations and omni channel fulfillment when needed. Engaging customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services is also part of the role. All associates are responsible for acting with integrity, honesty, fostering teamwork, exercising good judgment, demonstrating a customer service mindset, meeting individual goals, following company policies, maintaining safety, and proactively responding to direction from supervisors.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail
• Verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
• No retail experience required
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to perform the accountabilities listed in the “What You’ll Do” Section
• Ability to satisfactorily complete company training programs
• Ability to comply with dress code requirements
• Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and basic computer operation
• Ability to operate and communicate on multiple frequency devices, handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed
• Ability to maintain prompt and regular attendance and meet scheduling requirements as set by the company
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment
• Ability to withstand exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties, including without limitation, stockroom operations, truck unloading, etc.
• Perform work in accordance with the Physical Requirements section
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and occasionally over 50 lbs. with a two person lift
• Ability to climb, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist, reach, lift, grasp, push and pull on a frequent basis
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift
• Ability to visually verify information and locate and inspect merchandise
• Ability to comply with health and safety standards
