About The Position

Broadridge Financial Solutions is seeking a Storage Operations Engineer to join our Infrastructure Storage Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end storage operations and engineering activities across large-scale enterprise environments. You will ensure the stability, performance, capacity, and resilience of Broadridge's storage systems, partnering with global teams to support mission-critical infrastructure for our financial services clients. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience administering and supporting large enterprise storage environments.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with SAN/NAS technologies and enterprise-grade storage infrastructure.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly while meeting service-level commitments.
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills, ensuring compliance with corporate standards.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to work effectively across technical teams and vendors.
  • Self-starter with strong research initiative and problem-solving mindset.
  • Willingness to work extended or irregular hours, including weekend rotational on-call support.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with enterprise production hosting environments using the following:
  • Cisco/Brocade director-class and departmental FC switches and associated tools.
  • Dell EMC storage platforms (PMAX/VMAX, PowerStore, PowerScale/Isilon, ECS, XtremIO, Unity, GBB, Data Domain, VPLEX, RecoverPoint).
  • NetApp FAS deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • SAN Replication Technologies (SRDF, Snapshot, etc.).
  • Exposure to Cloud-based storage technologies and Container Storage environments.
  • Experience supporting recovery and backup operations in complex infrastructure ecosystems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day administration of the Storage Area Network (SAN), including provisioning, allocation, migration, and decommissioning of storage resources.
  • Perform storage-related tasks such as volume creation, LUN provisioning, and data migration.
  • Monitor system health, performance, and capacity utilization; produce and review operational reports.
  • Execute maintenance, configuration, and deployments across SAN infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with vendors for technical support, escalations, and issue resolution.
  • Support incident management activities, ensuring service levels are achieved and documented appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for configurations, operational procedures, and change management activities.
  • Assist in audits, patching, lifecycle refresh initiatives, and disaster recovery preparations.
