The Stockroom Clerk plays a major role in keeping the stockroom in order. Over time the incumbent is trained in a variety of distinct tasks each associated with the classification of a stockroom clerk. They will order, receive, issue and cycle count stock items, record data in SAP, verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies. Store items in an orderly and accessible manner, mark stock items using identification methods, and maintain various storage areas for a visual system. The Stockroom Clerk will also process outgoing shipments with Fed Ex/UPS, coordinate repair items, maintain plant office supplies, and perform monthly inventory cycle counts. They will work with other departments on inventory and orders, notify/deliver packages to other employees.
