Stockhandler - full time and part time opportunities
About The Position
Full and part time opportunities Shift: Sunday - Friday, Noon - 8 p.m. Wage: $17.00/hr Premiums: $1.00/hr 2nd Shift Premium $1.00/hr Weekend Premium Position Analysis: Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy against packing slips or purchase orders Unload, sort, and stock merchandise or materials in assigned locations Maintain organized, clean, and safe stockroom or warehouse areas Rotate stock according to company procedures (FIFO/lot control where applicable) Pick, pack, and prepare items for internal use or outbound shipment Assist with inventory counts and report discrepancies or damaged goods Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, or forklifts (if certified) Follow all safety, company, and quality control procedures Communicate inventory needs or issues to supervisors or team members
Requirements
- Previous stockroom, warehouse, or inventory experience a plus
- Basic math and organizational skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
- Ability to work in warehouse or stockroom environments with varying temperatures
Nice To Haves
- Forklift or equipment certification (preferred, not always required)
