About The Position
As an Operations Generalist at Petco, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our merchandising and inventory strategies are effectively executed across the Pet Care Center. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain the efficient and effective operations of the center, ensuring that we meet the needs of our guests and their pets. This includes working with the truck, stocking shelves, cleaning the Pet Care Center, operating the cash register, and providing an excellent experience for each guest. Your passion for animal welfare and proper care will be essential as you work collaboratively with the entire Pet Care Center team to create a welcoming environment for both pets and their owners. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory across the entire Pet Care Center, ensuring that merchandise is properly stocked, priced, and displayed to create an appealing presentation for our guests. You will also process register transactions in a manner that enhances the guest experience. A strong interest in animal welfare is vital, as you will support animal care procedures to maintain pet health. You will complete and apply training programs to maintain a high level of expertise in your role, promoting a positive culture of teamwork, inclusion, and collaboration. Your ability to engage with guests and utilize selling behaviors will be key to providing an amazing experience within our Pet Care locations. You will be empowered through our training programs to maintain safety protocols, as the safety of partners, guests, and pets is our top priority.
