Provides appropriate bulk levels of selected inventory supplies on a scheduled basis to Medical Center cost centers.

Requirements

• Graduation from high school or equivalent.
• Six (6) to twelve (12) months experience replenishing stock.
• Ability to operate a variety of material handling equipment.
• Must possess basic math skills.
• Knowledge of medical products desirable.

Responsibilities

• Performs tasks related to the accurate and timely issuance of bulk inventory supplies in accordance with pre?determined delivery schedules in order to maintain adequate supply levels throughout the Medical Center.
• Prepares and issues bulk supplies as selected, utilizing pre?printed bulk supply requisitions, documenting quantity issued, time order started and time order was completed as audited by supervisor.
• Provides accurate and timely issuance of credit for materials returned to bulk inventory.
• Audits and inspects material prior to forwarding credit requisition to data entry as observed by supervisor.
• Performs various departmental related duties as assigned by Manager in order to contribute to the efficient operation of the department.
• Verifies incoming materials, replenishes shelves in order to maintain accurate materials available for distribution, reports variances to Quality Assurance Clerk and Manager.
• Follows established safety procedures in the performance of all duties in order to ensure a safe environment.
• Operates material handling equipment to include propane fork truck and electric pallet truck in a safe manner as identified in initial orientation with no more than 2 non'serious violations within this evaluation period as observed by supervisor.
