Requirements

• Possess knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures concerning stocking tasks such as receipts, invoices, weights, updating of inventory, inspection, methods of storage, etc.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, unpacking materials/supplies and reporting damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement and record keeping purposes; and completing shipping and receiving reports
• Move parts and assemblies within or between various buildings in accordance with Facility manager or facility staff engineer priorities
• Arrange transfer of materials to meet production schedules; examine material to verify type specified for current project; and compute amount of material needed for specific job orders
• Be able to safely complete all of the physical demands of the job in a manufacturing environment
