About The Position

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION The Stock Assembler I is responsible for assembling and finishing Weatherby rifle stocks. Assignments may include basic or more complex tasks such as molding, sanding, pre-finishing, fitting parts, and final assembly. Assemblers will be trained to inspect and ensure finished products meet all specifications, while also supporting continuous improvement in quality and efficiency. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • English written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents including safety rules, operating instructions, and work orders.
  • Basic math skills and ability to use measuring instruments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, thoroughness, and time management abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform stock assembly tasks in an assembly line fashion
  • Assemble components and perform processes to specifications; perform quality inspections.
  • Operate pneumatic and CNC equipment safely and efficiently; Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Work collaboratively in a team-oriented atmosphere meeting daily goals together.
  • Follow work instructions and prescribed safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
