About The Position

Job Summary The Assembler I is responsible for the precise and efficient assembly of various components and sub-assemblies according to blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions, ensuring high-quality products that meet AAON's standards.

Requirements

Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately and efficiently.
Basic understanding of safety practices in a manufacturing setting.
Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
Effective communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other engineering documentation to accurately assemble components.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices (e.g., tape measure, calipers) to assemble parts and products.
Perform repetitive assembly tasks with precision and attention to detail.
Inspect assembled parts for defects, ensuring quality standards are met.
Identify and report any non-conforming materials or quality issues to the supervisor.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
Operate light machinery or equipment as required for fan assembly processes.
Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and achieve production targets.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs.
