Requirements

  • Valid STNA certification in the state of Ohio.
  • Previous experience working as an STNA, preferably in a long-term care or rehab setting.
  • Ability to work comfortably during night hours and adapt to shift requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, patient-focused, and detail-oriented approach to caregiving.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
  • Monitor residents’ conditions and report any changes to nursing staff promptly.
  • Assist with mobility and positioning to prevent bedsores and promote comfort.
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment by following facility protocols and infection control standards.
  • Support residents during meals and assist with feeding as needed.
  • Document care given and observations accurately and timely in residents’ records.
  • Collaborate closely with other healthcare team members to provide the highest quality care.
