Requirements
- Valid STNA certification in the state of Ohio.
- Previous experience working as an STNA, preferably in a long-term care or rehab setting.
- Ability to work comfortably during night hours and adapt to shift requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and detail-oriented approach to caregiving.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
- Monitor residents’ conditions and report any changes to nursing staff promptly.
- Assist with mobility and positioning to prevent bedsores and promote comfort.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment by following facility protocols and infection control standards.
- Support residents during meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Document care given and observations accurately and timely in residents’ records.
- Collaborate closely with other healthcare team members to provide the highest quality care.
