About The Position

Working closely with the Firsthand and Draper to create and alter garments for 3 productions during the Wolf Trap Opera summer season.
Must have strong hand sewing and machine sewing skills and be able to follow instructions from the Firsthand and Draper.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of Costume History and Construction.
• Strong hand sewing and machine sewing skills.
• Minimum of two years working in an educational or professional environment.
• Sensitivity and commitment to the mission of Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts.
• We’re pleased to consider applicants who will be physically located in and who will have a local address in Virginia, Maryland, or the District of Columbia for the duration of their employment.
