Staff hired under this stipend will support the implementation of the Youth-Led Cultural Empowerment Grant funded through La Colaborativa. This role involves supporting the planning and facilitation of monthly Healing and Craft Circles for students, assisting with the preparation and execution of student-led workshops, arts activities, and storytelling sessions. The staff will also support the Artist in Residence program with materials, logistics, and student engagement, and assist with the planning and coordination of the culminating “Comparsa” performance and community gallery event. A key aspect of the role is supporting student voice, leadership development, and participation in all project components, as well as helping with the setup, cleanup, and coordination of events and activities. Collaboration with CVLA staff, guest artists, and La Colaborativa partners is essential to ensure smooth program implementation.
